4.8.3.2 Power and manual table tilt test. T h e class A positioner shall
be connected to a power source with a capacity load. The class A positioner

through 90 degrees for sizes la, lb and 3, and 0 to 135 degrees for sizes 2

4 . 8 . 3 . 3 Noise level test. Noise level measurements shall be made to
ensure conformance with 3.2.5.2. U n l e s s otherwise specified (see 6.2), the
measurements shall be made at the operator's work station and at each "corner
of the positioner. Noise emitted by the positioner when operating under a no
load condition shall not exceed 84 db when measured on the A scale of a type 1
or type II sound meter at slow response. The test shall be conducted with the
positioner operating at intermediate and maximum speeds.

4 . 8 . 3 . 4 Electromagnetic interference control test. Equipment

4 . 9 Environmental protection certification of conformance. The contrac-
